Looks good, so here's my critique.

*What I Like♦
I love the over all concept, such as the area you have placed him into.
The shading is actually well done for a first try, as well as you knew where to place the shading correctly, so that's great.

~What can change <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/n/n…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title="Noes!"/>
You might need to either change the brush type you use, or put some more time and be a bit more carefully to get the shading less 'scribble-like'.
Maybe some lighting on the right wing would add some effect that it was a nice sunny day.

Note*:Next time, maybe don't put down the base owner's signature, but put your own their. You only need to mention in the description for non-theft.

(I gave originality a bad grade,only because the area is used a lot and is pretty simple, as well this was a base that came with that pose.)
